About Kate

I’m a positive psychologist, coach and change manager who loves working in a strengths-based way and is passionate about helping people and organisations to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be. I offer strengths-based team support, coaching, training and mentoring.

I use a solution-focussed, strength-based approach with its roots in positive psychology. I have an MSc (distinction) in Applied Positive Psychology and am proud to lecture part time on Appreciative Inquiry, strengths development and a range of other topics at Buckinghamshire New University.

I am qualified coach, (ECI Qualified Practitioner of Coaching LCH Dip), NLP practitioner, Usui Reiki Master Practitioner and an experienced practitioner and teacher of the strengths-based approach to change known as Appreciative Inquiry. I’m also a Professional Member and elected Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

I have many years’ experience of working at senior executive level for a large national charity and have also supported many large public sector organisations, including central government and local authorities to improve their performance. This work has included extensive strengths-based team support, coaching, training and mentoring.
