It was a very enjoyable session which clearly explained what a mystery shopper was, why they are used and how they can be applied to Supporting People. All of the participants felt that the training fully prepared them to perform the duties required.

"I would like to thank you on behalf of those who attended, Caroline and myself for delivering the training. Although a one-off session, the course and the supporting information packs that you created have stood us in good stead to roll out the mystery shopping exercise and reach our target date for completion.

We have recently held a follow-up meeting for those who attended the training and those who would like to continue and form part of the project team. An item on the agenda asked us to discuss our feelings about the training undertaken, if the members of the group felt confident and empowered enough to take on the role of a mystery shopper and if there were any further training needs. It was unanimous that all of the members felt that the training fully prepared them to perform the duties required and no further training needs were identified.

Positive comments were made regarding the role-play sessions which allowed them to act out the scenarios and ask any questions whilst you were there to answer and reassure.

It was a very enjoyable session, and I feel that both the presentation and information packs fully informed those who were not totally aware of what a mystery shopper was, why they are used and how they can be applied to Supporting People."
